The Lost Lotus

My expectations were for a Lotus in a quiet dark pond in the forest. But I received layers of beauty carpeted by an ever unforgiving oud. Very Arabic in effervescence and highly unlikeable by me. Bottle has leakwd the juice and stickers all washed away.

PPI Kannauj Trifecta Lotus Oud - skank-lovers line right up! Waaah… Opens with a some really different florals. Never smelled lotus am guessing that’s what it is based on notes. Nice but nothing that would get me excited. The next stage is waaaah…a fantastical smell of “unwashed-armpits-rubbed-with-spice”, pungent and bit floral, harsh edges rounded off with some sweetness. This am guessing is the Oud… Not exactly a barnyard / fecal smell but more of an “armpit” vibe, this stage is marvellous! Nothing scary but certainly a deviation from the big-standard “fantasy Oud” in TF OU or Cypriot/synthetic Oud mega dumps used in western perfumery. This is certainly daring… Longevity - 12+ hrs (hint: try spraying your armpits with this and then see how it evolves ). Projection - moderate / close to skin. So you won’t be driving people off, unless you push your armpits in their face close up. Man, this is solid! I was not sure how much I would like this kind of a Oud frag but oh it’s sooooo good. Certainly stands out…. If words like “skanky” or “dirty” excites you then you need to grab this now.
